God Loves You!

There is no love greater than the love of God. God loves you so much that He gave the most precious thing He had - His Son, Jesus. St. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

To realize how much God loves you, ask yourself this question. Would I give my one and only son to a mob of angry men to kill? Remember the only reason you are sacrificing his life is to save the lives of evil, corrupt, hateful, ungrateful, unthankful, selfish people. More than likely the answer would be NO! Romans 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him." Only because of God's love we have hope through the shedding of His Son's blood. He died to give us a second chance.

God loves you with and everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3 says it's with love and kindness God has drawn us. His love will never give up on you. It is everlasting. Apostle Paul said, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Nothing can stop God from loving you.

God's love is so powerful and awesome that it is the element that holds the world together. Love is of God because God is love. If we love one another we are born of God. If we don't love one another we are not born of God. I John 4:11 says, "Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." There is no prejudice in God and because of this there should be none is us. No matter what color of the skin God loves you! Money has nothing to do with the love of God. Your status in life is not important to God. he loves you just where you are. God hates sin but he loves His creation, you!

Trust God with your life. Give it over to Him and He will do what's best for you. Forgive those that have hurt you and he will heal your broken heart.

If God is not the center of your life pray this prayer with me. . .

Father, in Jesus name, thank your for your great love for me. Thank you for giving your son Jesus for me. Forgive me for not making you the center of my life. Come into my heart and be my savior. Take control of my life and be my Lord. My desire is to love people like you do but I need your help. I want to be a true Christian.

Love in Christ,
Evangelist Beverly A. Gaines
